Beowulf
Is the Webber 38/38 to much carb for the L20b, if not what manifold would I need? Thanks all Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
It's a V6 small V8 carb. Will it work? sure so will a 4bbl but not optimally. There are two rules.... never over cam and engine and never over carb an engine. Better to have too small and want larger than larger an wish it was smaller. I would recommend a 32/36 Weber. Either will fit the stock intake as the kit includes an adapter plate. Assuming you buy a new one and not someone else's problem they want to get rid of. Pierce Manifolds sell genuine kits for under $300. Don't end up with a piece of shit counterfeit knock off from China. Quote Link to comment
Beowulf
Thanks for the information as I’m new to these motors. One of these carbs came up for sale at a good price. I have a lot of work before really needing one. Trucks been sitting for years needs body work, lines, suspension, ect. Before worrying about driving. And since I have 5 extra stick carbs in all the parts I got work with them if I need to Quote Link to comment
