XDawesomeface Posted September 2, 2020 Report Share Posted September 2, 2020 Hey all, I recently picked up a 1973 620 with a stock 4 speed transmission. There is an alarming amount of play in the shifter (especially when trying to find 3rd) however I can't seem to find bushes that will fit a pre '74. If anyone has a part number or link to somewhere I could pick a set of these up, it would be much appreciated. -Owen Quote Link to comment
datzenmike Posted September 2, 2020 Report Share Posted September 2, 2020 Make sure nut 4 is snug maybe add washer(s) under 5 and 7 to crush down on the rubber cones 8. See if you can slip a thin washer on 19 under one of the C clips 18. Must not be too tight! Maybe a thin washer on 17 where it passes though 37, again must not be tight. 1 1 Quote Link to comment
