rnscustom
I have a single bulb 2 element brake , turn signal , parking light system , the wiring was set up with a taillight converter which failed . All wires connected direct without converter ( converter appeared to be aftermarket ?? ) . Problem is i think there must be a cancel for the brake light when the turn signal is applied since they share the same bulb element ?? I loose the turn signal when the brake is applied . rnscustom
Finally figured this out . That converter is necessary to cancel the brake when the turn signal is on . Not shown in the schematic I had . Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
The 620 truck is just linkage. The brakes are connected to the two (left and right) wires to the tail lights. When the turn signal lever is moved, the brake signal to that side is mechanically disconnected by a switch and the turn signal flasher unit connected. There is no 'converter' Quote Link to comment
