Random updates - new wheels and T3 micro brakes

Howdy ratsunners (I'm still super fresh here.. painfully obvious?)... I recently got tired of stopping on a 10 dollar bill and upgraded my front brakes from sketch front brakes to the Techno Toy Tuning micro big brake kit. And threw some new wheels on for good measure.

Steelies didn't clear w/o a 1" spacer... so happy to not have those any more...

Are you still on stock 510 struts? (Edit- oops, looks like it in picture 5).

Looks like a great fit in that 13" wheel.

I believe the T3 micro kit for 280ZX struts uses the Z31 4 bolt rotor.  Not sure about the 510 strut kit.  I am making up my own "micro" style kit for 280ZX rotors and Z31  300ZX hubs and rotors, so the supplied photos are really helpful.  Still fine tuning my brackets.  My friends 3d printer is not so great at holding my specified dimensions.

Digging those wheels!

Thats brake kits looks pretty clean too. I like that they use a 1 piece rotor. Any chance there was a brand or part number on those rotors?

No idea - they came in a box marked "made in china"... and I installed them without looking terribly close.

Thanks on the wheels!

Those do look like 280ZX rotors.  Is there a part # on the rotor box?

Nice clean 4dr!  Those must be a JDM wheel.....?? 😎

Boxes have been recycled... 😕

JDM wheel indeed - TOM'S Igeta (igetta?) - I've gotten a few "those belong on Toyotas" comments... but they look great on the 510 IMO.
