A friend dropped by and told me the new pope was American. This isn't the first time the church has dabbled in politics on this scale. In the late '70s, the then pope John Paul II, himself Polish visited Poland and basically got the ball rolling for Polish independence? The church was sending  message to Russia. Some parallels can be drawn from this. I predict the church will oppose Trump's bullshit moves on a world wide stage. Just watch the Supreme Pontiff and Prince of the Catholic church do battle with the anti Christ one on one.

I agree he points out a valid issue, but I don't think it's accurate to describe black fatigue through the lens of cultural/class difference within the black community. The same thing exits with trailer park white trash being judged differently. I think dude totally drops the ball saying it's 2025, and MLK's dream has been realized. It's a special ignorance to think that's where America is at with class and race relations today. Every individual deserves to be judged only by their actions, but that kind of objectivity and fairness are not synonymous with human nature. Quite the opposite.
