Well the Federal funding of the Abortion is going away once the new justice is confirmed.

The Truth of the Rowe V wade argument is to give the states the power to set their policy and funding. The FED just wont contribute to it.

They want to push it through in the event the re-election doesn't come through.

Absolutly.

This is something even the Trump admin says is what should be federally funded, and more education. Not fake education and promotion of abortions as "Body rights"

Well no.. The reason Obama didn't get his vote in his last year is because the American people gave the senate control to the republicans. The power to confirm is placed in that portion of the government.

Its not a given that you automatically get to place a justice just because you have the chief office. The American people have put a Republican in the Chief office and voted to uphold the majority in the senate for the control of the SCOTUS confirmations.

Ethical is not a word that is to be bestowed upon a majority of people in the branches of government. Don't delude yourself.

Maybe I'm not saying it well.

If you are voted out of office you should not get to pick a SC justice of your choosing IF you get the chance. Better to hang on a few months till inauguration. To jam you biased pic through is a fuck you to the people that gave you the boot.

Then people have no clue how the system works.

He has a set duration that was handed to him by the voters to serve. If the opportunity comes to place a new justice and he has the legal power and supporting branch to do so....Well regardless of how you (feel) He is doing it well within the voter consent given to him.

Had Obama had the power of the senate then I would say the same stuff begrudgingly.

This election doesn't take effect until January 2021.

We cannot pretend to be outraged knowing very well that it don't matter what R or D is in the office with advantages that they wont seize them currently. The R's have long tried to play ball with the D's and are seen as tail tucking pussies.

Now that the precedence set by the D's is being exploited against themselves they're feigning as victim and howling righteous indignation.

Fawning and memorializing her, actually isn't her fault. What was her fault to be so evil??

She wasn't evil, disagreeing with her position on legal issues is not a litmus test for evil. I strongly disagreed with her interpretation of the 2nd Amendment, but differing opinions on interpretations of Constitutional law, that are held in good faith and supported by precedent, and rational and/or pragmatic argument, are insufficient to warrant damnation from fellow sinners. The final disposition or location of her eternal soul, if one believes in such things, is another matter entirely.

Through a very improbable and unlikely set of circumstances, unrelated to legal matters, I attended a kind of "open house" / dedication, of a property in DC to the Supreme Court. A number of the Supreme Court Justices attended, including Ginsberg. We didn't talk long. She was polite and direct. She was very petite, which surprised me, and frail, in 1999. I would have never believed that she would remain for 20 more years. So, she must have been damn tough, as well.

The Democrats have always cried about the rules, whenever they don't get it their way or when they think they will be in power forever.

Now they want to change how we vote. Nothing when they win, but when they don't, well, it isn't fair and things must change!!

FUCK'EM!

The POTUS to nominate a SCOTUS Candidate is in the Constitution, not in the power of the Democrats. We didn't make a pledge to them, but we did to the Constitution!

I would guess that you can't remember back as far as 2016 but then most republicans since trump can't remember what they had for lunch earlier in the day.

The fact that none of that bothers you is sad dude.

I don't give a shit about Pelosi, she should see insider trading charges and her husband.

I wouldn't dump my Datsun, I would just do a Tesla battery+swap 😄 Have you seen the fuckin torque those things put out?

I'm glad you love the US. I wouldn't begin to doubt that of you, or anyone else in this thread. I think that's why this shit gets heated when talked about. But. Big but here. But, that doesn't mean that its OK to do that shit. We gotta have people that are better than you and I leading us. Not a bunch of fuckass liars and cheats that take our rights away or do  shit that we as the citizens have to just deal with because fuck you plebs.

I hope we don't become socialist, but we do need to get our fuckin house in order. Anyone that wants a 70% tax rate can smooch my grundle. You may want to not wish Turmp hanging around with Ron "oh fuck I raped a shit ton of people" Jeremy. He's already got a bad enough image being around so many parties with Jeff "oh fuck I didn't kill myself" Epstein 😄 j/k topical humor.

I mean, Black lives do matter. Any president should be able to say that. Doesn't mean that they have to be marching in the streets with them but they should be able to listen to ANY group that forms in america that is on the verge because they're overlooked hurt, scared, and angry. The presidents gotta be able to chill everyone out and unify us. Like a good parent, sometimes that means a swat on the ass to get your attention, but in the end you know that they care and are there for you - not just grabbing the belt because they think you're out of line.

Yeah, What is Hunter Biden and China all about? I have no clue about that shit.

I don't like our chances either way. Hope it's not as bad as you think it will be if Old man Joe wins.

Edits for other comments:

Yes, you look badass, thank you for your service. But some of our taxes went to the UN, and? Sure others can kick in more of a share but you don't stop funding that shit because you want others to kick in more. It would destabilize allies and a lot of geopolitical shit while allowing China (the #2 contributor) to take over the fuckin UNs influence.

We are talking about Trump. NAFTA was thanks to Bush. Not that it matters but even Biden said that the USMCA is better than NAFTA, so kudos to Trump.  the TPP helped us export more shit and helped us bring the economy up. It also helped protect the rights of american companies - though because there were concessions for everyone involved (mexico, australia, canada, new zealand, japan, vietnam and singapore, and others along with us) could be seen as us trying to strengthen with allies against chinas control over the pacific.

You understand that many people on food stamps DO go to work, they just can't afford to fuckin EAT right? You know how many kids depend on that shit for food?
And YES ANYONE who can't afford food should be able to get it, that's literally the point man.

My best friends dad was in the Air force, guarding nukes in alaska. When they got out and settled down in the PNW he got a job as a contrator - handling the setup of EBT machines though all of washington, oregon, idaho, and some other random shit. 10 hours a day he helped every single bodega, 7-11, walmart, safeway, ect set up EBT and get it connected to system and teach people over the phone at the store how to use it. He did that shit for longer than the 15 years that I knew him before he passed. Do you know the most common fraud on EBT / food stamps? When stores try and 'cash out' a card for people and skim a % off the top. It's not people using it to buy booze and cigarettes and shit. It's business fraud. That's what you should be pissed at.

And that's what happens when you have no social structure for section 8 housing. When they aren't close to the help they need, good schools for kids, good paying jobs for the family. I'm literally in the same scenario. Yard filled with cars across the street, a half-way home for single mothers next door. No one takes care of the yards. No drugs fortunately but nice enough people and they don't fuck with me so we don't have any probs.

It's not always about "making good decisions and you won't be poor" dude. Sometimes people just get fucked by life. When you are poor, and even more so when you're SUPER poor, it's even harder to scrounge yourself up 'by your boott straps' and get yourself right. Do you know how difficult it is for a homeless person to get a job? That shit's fuckin crazy. No one is going to hire you if you're unkempt, and stink, and your clothes look like shit, and that's not even going into the other stuff like "do you have a car or bus pass" or "whats your previous work experience" or "whats your address". (That doesn't mean that there aren't a bunch of leeches that refuse to get help. My uncle is one of them,)  That doesn't mean you take the support structure that is critical for people being able to make it back into a 'normal' life.

You really are clueless. Some of the shit you're typing has me laughing.Your food stamp comment stands out as a huge joke. You have no idea what people are buying with food stamps do you ? How about soda pop,Cheetos or Red Bull as a start ? I see it everyday at my local liquor store. It's an abused system.Section 8 brings down neighborhood values and attracts those that will destroy your rental property. My friend sold his two rentals because of what the section 8 tenants did to them.He spent 60K renovating the two houses just so he could sell them and be done with it.Try a fucking job and birth control if you want more out of life.

I'm not a fan of this as a form of birth control. So why do 600,000 women a year have this. Is it because they are denied birth control????  I do believe that contraceptives should be available to everyone and ultimately women should make the final decision on their reproduction needs.. Not pregnant.... no need for abortion. You??

...and no answer is no answer. Can I assume you are against all contraception then? No? Have you agitated for and supported proper informed sex education and counseling in schools, access to condoms in schools, access to birth control, government assistance to pay for those who can't afford it????? maybe have it covered by health insurance? Have you made you views known to your elected officials? For someone so anti abortion what have you done to reduce it? Can we agree that not conceiving would reduce the vast majority of the 600,000 a year abortions?
