He's as left or as right as he needs to be to win elections & the blue collar appeal of Restore has him spooked at the moment so he's hoping people forget he was happily predicting a muslim majority Britain by 2050 & using that as an excuse to tread gingerly around the grooming gang scandal. He's about as nationalist as Mitch McConnell circa 1999. He preaches populism to the masses but still wants invites to posh affairs & to be viewed as upper crust.
