It is a violation to shit on the sidewalk. The people doing the shitting are without money for fines, the jails are overcrowded and incarceration for shitting or for nonpayment of fines never happens, to those without assets or an address. So, there is no where to put them, they will scream and holler when arrested and neither citizens, nor government agencies want the trouble. Also, for an arrest, evidence must be collected and linked to the shitter, requiring the expense of DNA test. (and who wants to collect the evidence). Add all the aforementioned together and if you look like you're without assets or an address, then you can shit, whenever and where ever you want in San Fran. Now, wear a suit and drop a deuce off a park bench or on a sidewalk and you could have different experience. Hey, San Fran. maybe one of your liberal law firms could bring a million dollar lawsuit against the city and remedy that."discrimination". All the rest is spot on. I would propose, either through legislation or case law, exposing one's backside and defecating in public be classified as an "assault" on individuals forced to witness the event, thereby granting those citizens amnesty for actions taken in defense against said-assault. The government of California has failed. The social contract broken. The citizens of California should be empowered to retake their cities or the citizens of California should retake their cities. If citizens of California are unwilling or unable to return to self government and restore the social contract, then California should be under Federal control until that condition changes. As enjoyable as it might be to watch California burn, they are our American brothers and sisters, united we stand and we will stand together, even if it means death of a great number. wayno
The Biden Administration Knew China Could Manipulate Our Elections - And Covered It Up The Biden Administration Knew China Could Manipulate Our Elections - And Covered It Up Newly declassified intelligence shows U.S. intelligence discovered the threat of Chinese access and control of U.S. election systems — then buried the evidence and punished those who exposed it. Sam Faddis Apr 28 ∙ Guest post READ IN APP by Sam Faddis April 28, 2026 In 2022, the election security firm True the Vote broke the story that a company called Konnech in Michigan was storing data on American election workers on servers in China. True the Vote leaders Catherine Engelbrecht and Gregg Phillips were, of course, ridiculed by the so-called mainstream press. Then it got worse. Engelbrecht and Phillips were actually jailed because they would not give up the name of their source, who had blown the whistle on Konnech. The federal government didn’t seem to give a damn that a hostile foreign power might be able to influence our elections. It did seem very intent on making sure no one knew about it. For daily geopolitical analysis Fox Business calls “absolutely phenomenal”, sign up as a FREE or PREMIUM Member today! Now, four years later, we can see that it was much, much worse than that. According to John Solomon, at the time True the Vote was being silenced, the Intelligence Community had assessed the situation, recognized the risk, and issued a report outlining the danger we faced. And that report and that assessment were hidden from the public, even as patriots trying to protect the republic were being persecuted and jailed. “We judge that U.S. adversaries, including, at a minimum, Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea, as well as non-state groups, have the capability to compromise U.S. election infrastructure for the 2020 presidential election,” the National Intelligence Council wrote in the memo dated Jan. 15, 2020. “Adversaries gaining access to U.S. election-related systems could disrupt the voting process, steal sensitive data, or undermine confidence in the election results, but we do not know whether any of them have specific plans to manipulate election-related systems,” the memo added. The document was recently declassified by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, who continues to expose examples of the intelligence community suppressing or misusing intelligence. The report in question was prepared by then National Intelligence Officer for Cyber. Chief Christopher Porter. Talking to John Solomon, Porter had this to say. “What is shocking is how uncontroversial some of these findings are to professionals—it is no secret that China and Iran compromise election equipment for a variety of intelligence purposes, nor was it controversial at the time that these systems had technical vulnerabilities. Every agency concurred on these findings, but because it was seen as potentially aiding the President’s reelection campaign, there was an active effort to damage him politically by refusing to share the declassified report with the public.” Rod on Capitol Report: The CCP's 2020 U.S. Election Interference Exposed Rod D. Martin · June 21, 2025 Read full story Keep in mind what was known about Konnech when True the Vote blew the whistle. Konnech wasn’t just storing data in China. Konnech was using contractors inside China to do work in the United States on American election systems. This is the exact language in the criminal complaint ultimately filed by Los Angeles. (Charges were dropped against the head of Konnech after the federal government intervened.) “On or about October 10, 2019, through October 4, 2022, Eugene Yu and other employees at Konnech, Inc. were providing these services to Los Angeles County using third-party contractors based in China.” “…Konnech employees known and unknown sent personal identifying information of Los Angeles County election workers to third-party software developers who assisted with creating and fixing Konnech’s internal ‘PollChief’ software.” Konnech gave Chinese contractors in mainland China “super-administration access” to the electoral systems on which Konnech worked. It is incredible enough that Konnech itself ever had such access. It is literally almost beyond belief that Konnech would have been in a position to grant such access to other entities. Yet again, it is confirmed by the criminal complaint filed against the company. “On or about August 18, 2022, Luis Nabergoi, project manager for Konnech’s contract with the County of Los Angeles, confirmed via the messaging app DingTalk that any employee for Chinese contractors working on PollChief software had ‘superadministration’ privileges for all PollChief clients. Mr. Nabergoi described the situation as a ‘huge security issue.’” An individual with super administration access to a system can do (effectively) anything inside that system. He or she can delete data, steal data, alter data, change programming, etc. Perhaps most importantly, that individual can cover his or her tracks because they can potentially also access and alter all security protocols and programs (e.g., delete audit logs). So, Konnech, which has numerous questionable ties to Chinese entities, was allowed to punch a hole into our election systems, and then Konnech was allowed to grant that same level of access to unknown “contractors” in China. And yet, it got even worse. The Noose Tightens on ActBlue, And Democrats Have a Major Problem Rod D. Martin · Apr 22 Read full story Konnech didn’t only work for state and state electoral systems. Konnech also had access to something called the Uniformed And Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act, (UOCAVA) program. Press reporting suggests that Konnech was hired on at least one occasion to do work for the Department of Defense pursuant to the UOCAVA. In 1986, the federal government enacted the UOCAVA to provide special registration and absentee voting provisions for military and overseas civilians. The Department of Defense administers the UOCAVA program. Pursuant to the act, any uniformed and overseas citizen can register to vote and request an absentee ballot via the UOCAVA system. The individual simply submits what is known as a Federal Post Card Application. They are then sent an absentee ballot. A person requesting a ballot under UOCAVA can, for some inexplicable reason, select any address they want when registering and requesting a ballot. Per the Federal Voting Assistance Program (FVAP), an overseas non-military voter may claim an address of domicile “even if you have not physically been present at that address.” There appears to be no requirement that the individual requesting a ballot even prove they are a U.S. citizen. In 2020, the FBI, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, Election Assistance Commission, and National Institute of Standards and Technology described the UOCAVA process as “high risk” and “susceptible to fraud.” Interestingly, the number of non-military UOCAVA voters skyrocketed to 573,000 from 228,000 between 2016 and the 2020 election. If Konnech and contractors in China had super administrator access to the UOCAVA system, they could have done literally anything inside the UOCAVA system. The idea that we have a back door into our voting system with few or no safeguards to control who registers to vote is troubling enough. The thought that this back door could literally be under the complete control of entities connected to Communist China is chilling. In the four years leading up to the 2020 election, roughly 350,000 “people” registered to vote using the UOCAVA system. That system may well have been compromised. All indicators point to mainland China. Instead, not only did no one investigate, but action was taken against True the Vote for disclosing the threat. Catherine and Greg were, in fact, jailed and literally thrown into solitary confinement when they refused to identify the source of their information regarding Konnech. Federal agencies that were busy hiding intelligence regarding a grave national security threat apparently had all the time in the world to attack and imprison patriotic Americans trying to defend their country. The Biden administration knew the Chinese could manipulate our elections, and they covered it up. Why? — Sam Faddis is Senior Editor of AND Magazine, where this essay originally appeared. About 2 months ago I actually entered a pot dispensary for the first time. I was curious what the prices were. It ranges from $110 to just under $200 for 28 grams. Forgot you Americans use the old measurement, that's one ounce. Why would it go up? Doesn't have to go through the Straight of Homuz. There's a government testing station not far away. Plants are bred and tested for content. Back in the '70s it was $20 and oz. jumping suddenly to $40 for 'Colombian'. Naturally all Mexican pot suddenly became Columbian overnight. I bought a half key for $250 once. You should try some edibles sometime Tommy. Fuck smoking that shit and no one need know. Try a low dose and work up from there to better mellow health. I mean better mental health. I like it at least an hour before bed time for sleep. If the elderly have trouble with sleep, I sure don't. Legally you can have four plants on your property. I thought that wasn't much but even without a green thumb that's close to one pound per plant. I like to give away as presents. 1 Quote Link to comment

The government authorized growers have to have to be certified and the content (strength) is on the label. Or the edibles are. I don't even know if it's sold on the streets. I would never buy it off the street because it may be cut with fentanyl or something, why risk that? Pot isn't an opioid so any test could just ignore it. Unless you're a pilot. There was a snowboarder (all snow boarders were pot smokers) years ago that won Olympic Gold but tested positive for cannabis. I forgot the details but was stripped of his medal after testing positive for pot and it went to court. The prosecutor failed to prove that he actually smoked pot. His defence was he was with people smoking. On the courthouse steps after his acquittal he said "I inhaled it, man, but I didn't smoke it". Unless they have a test for actually being high (maybe they do?) there will always be some that will show up on a test. Quote Link to comment

tr8er
Dispensaries are a gross plague in some areas. I’m hoping Hawaii never lets that happen. Why would we. I’ve not paid for weed since high school. datzenmike
Agree the weed dispensaries are like dollar stores or storage units around here. I don't grow it for sleep just noticed some do. Often I forget to have my edible and remember too late or the next day. It's like a beer after work not high priority just that at 8 or 9 PM, why not? I grow my own and have for years. Used to grow it in the '70s in a minor way but that was from caution as you did not want to be caught 50 years ago. Now that it's legal why not in a responsible way? If you like gardening or growing some of your own food why not grow your own stone? Later in the evening I'm not likely to be needing to drive, it's quiet and the day is winding down. I'm not a proponent of 'wake and bake' or afternoon 4:20, too much stuff happening. I have an ex military friend that has some minor problems and he sends in a 'shopping list' to the government every month and they send him all kinds of free CBD/THC laced edibles. I guess they figure as a veteran they can just 'keep him quiet' by keeping him stoned all the time? I don't have anything wrong, like chronic pains, but hear others going on about the CBD oils being a game changer. Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
First off... Starbucks coffee tastes like shit. Have never had an enjoyable cup there. Always tastes burnt and acrid as if the price alone isn't enough to not drink it. It's for run of the mill trendy douchebags types of all political leanings who want the Starbucks logo on their cups as a fashion statement. Overpriced, stand in long lines, putrid, coffee... looks good on ya. When they are gone, real coffee drinkers will find a substitute and will realize what shit they have been drinking all these years. If you like Starbucks then there will be more for you elsewhere. Tim's is ok but like McDeez it's the same everywhere in Canada, no surprises. Actually McDeez is quite good when you factor in the price and overall availability. Didn't used to be back in the '70. It was worse than Starbucks. 1 Quote Link to comment

What did sink in was updrafts and downdrafts on mountains and how that eats small aircraft. I would be happy in an ultralight over the fields, even the foothills, but I liked to fly in the mountains and too chicken to fly an ultralight there, I wouldn't even try a hang glider in the foothills. You win. My flying days pretty much ended when I dropped out of high school and made the stupid decision to move out of my parents house and be my own man. You don't know what you got till its gone-story of my life. I will add, I always wore a helmet on the highway. I'm ignorant, but not completely, that and the wind makes my eyes water even with sunglasses on and it is hard to see, and Idaho used to be a lot colder, sun goes down and my ears would freeze.
