I'm hoping that voters (& lawmakers) vote all these down,as we're really tired of being taxed already. We also have a law that's being voted on by the public right now that would allow Democrats to have 10 representitives to just 1 Republican.They're running ads saying that they want "Fairness in elections" which is an outright lie, & it's written very confusingly. It requires all state and local government agencies, along with their employees, to use the new name when conducting official business. The requirement applies to: Newly created maps and documents State websites and official communications Educational materials and public school resources According to the bill, agencies are only required to update existing resources when practicable and are not obligated to make changes that would result in significant financial or operational burdens. The legislation includes language allowing K–12 schools and universities to continue using the term “Gulf of Mexico” in historical or academic contexts. Rep. David Standridge (R-Hayden) sponsored the bill, which passed the Alabama House in February and cleared the Senate late last month.
