I have a problem with Trump for what he does. The latest is to refuse contact tracing on where he got the virus from. He says he got it from a gathering of gold star families.https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.businessinsider.com/trumps-coronavirus-military-gold-star-2020-10%3Famp&ved=2ahUKEwijrce2uKjsAhXcmHIEHT_RBb0Qr_oDegQIERAg&usg=AOvVaw1c6M316MevhdD8ykxuhLFS

Without any proof or any effort to contact trace I find this disgusting behavior. Just Dr. Trumps expert guess. This is what turns off the general population.

First, does it really matter where he got it from ? And how could they possibly trace an exact person or place to be infected from if you ever go outside ? The shit floats through the air, wind blows, people touch things.I just can't believe they could pin it down to a precise location or person. They sure will try though. If i went to Walmart, the grocery store,a gas station and then a fast food joint all in one day and ended up sick where did i catch it ? Besides that what will it even tell us if they pinpoint where Trump was infected ? We already know he got sick.He got it at at a "super spreader" rally right ? One thing i'd like to hear is how many people have been infected that have taken every precaution imaginable.

A good leader leads by example. The CDC guidelines have been out since this shit started. Does Trump follow the guidelines? Nope he has to do it his way and the dumbshit got covid. Why refuse the recommended contact tracing? It has been working up here in Maine at keeping the numbers low only, vermont is better.

CDC guidelines ? the guidelines that have been changed too frequently ? No mask, yes mask.Six feet apart,Covid lives on surfaces for two weeks. It's only spread by droplets.Etc.They flip flop all over. All you can do is take care of yourself. The CDC hasn't stopped anything. After all of their recommendations being followed by the masses it got worse !

CDC guidelines? Treat it like any flu virus. Don't touch shit like hand rails, door knobs or cash. Don't touch face. Wash your hands often and when you get home. Don't go near people or crowds. Stay home if sick. How fucking hard is that????? Course most don't want to make the effort because like anti-vaxers.... "it infringes on their rights to be stupid arrogant cunts".

We've been living in a bubble these past few generations and have lost the lesson learned of what happens if you aren't vigilant.

Dude why perpetuate the same garbage narratives?

* Trump closed things down 1 month before any other politician from the democrat party moved away from calling his action xenaphobic.

*Trump also closed things down (international travel)  before the CDC had even called for such maneuvers.

*Trump also closed things down (International Travel) with the recommendation of Dr. Burx and Fauci.

What contact tracing are you talking about? Are you talking about nationally, or specific to his events for 5 days?  Please be more specific.

States are in charge of their own virus programs and tracing programs by the way, so attributing blame to Trump if states are failing at this is making Trump a straw man to shift blame.

Example: If Oregon was one of the worst hit virally then I would blame local control since they're in charge of the states. Trump is not in control of state action or legislation.

https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://apnews.com/d227b34b168e576bf5068b92a03c003d&ved=2ahUKEwjF5ZT24ajsAhXRZTUKHWEsAIQQFjABegQIARAB&usg=AOvVaw0SKZzvyRH6Tj-JkD_Xe4n5

This gets tiring. This bafoon keeps ignoring the professionals at his disposal and distorting his "accomplishments".

Be a leader wear mask and social distance. Don't mock those that do these things because they are somehow seen as unpatriotic or whatever his twisted vision is. The dumbshit cought COVID despite having every protection at his disposal. Contact tracing works if it is implemented. Trump for some reason is against it. There are lists of everyone's names that have been in contact with Trump since he got in office, high security this is the easiest list to trace he doesn't need to remember shit. See who he was in contact with in the window of him catching covid and test them and it is simple to figure it out. Oh wait he doesn't want testing because it makes him look bad.

Semantics.

Do you know what people call someone you can’t reason with?

i suggest you do a little more research.

This is why this is a Base election. Good luck to “your side” Bottomwatcher.

I would have better luck beating my head against a wall to create plutonium than to actually get you to look outside your frame of mind.

Please enlighten me to the outside my frame of mind!  I am very open minded and have friends from all walks of life from millionaires to basically homeless. The one common thread is they are all civil. My favorite phrase is " never confuse the lack of sophistication with the lack of civilization"!  Some of the finest folks I know may have a hard time reading and writing and live in a shack but will share whatever extra they have in their garden while there shoes are held together with duct tape. Been all through central and south America, been robbed then helped by local folks with nothing to gain. Life is good now and I have a steady bead on what I want for the remainder of my life and have achieved a good group of friends to count on. Trump has zero values, zero leadership and is a sinking ship dragging down the Republican party. Their fault for not holding him accountable. Anyways doesn't matter to me, wife and I will be fine and I am voting libertarian. My candidate won't win but all I can hope for is there is some recognition of a third party.

Every nation gets the government it deserves....... Joseph de Maistre  (NOT Thomas Jefferson... although, imitation IS the sincerest form of flattery)

According to Maistre, any attempt to justify government on rational grounds will only lead to unsolvable arguments about the legitimacy and expediency of any existing government and that this in turn will lead to violence and chaos.[23][24] As a result, Maistre argued that the legitimacy of government must be based on compelling, but non-rational grounds which its subjects must not be allowed to question.

In Idaho,   "Californians"  is a generic term applied to the left leaning invasion and to be clear, I considered myself left of center, before the last decade. But,  the left has slowly embraced a socialist/communist agenda, disregarding the overwhelming historical evidence of suffering and death, such governments bring. A couple of years back, the "Californians" pushed for a 100 million dollar property tax funded new library. I actively campaigned against it and hopefully, helped its defeat. For me, the most telling part of the process, when I explained the property tax increases in the last 10 years (over 400%, that's not a typo) were going to make me homeless, a "Californian"  showed concern. He addressed the meeting and talked about Idaho's poor treatment of the homeless. He transitioned to promote another bill, on the ballot, to increase property tax, for renovations and expansion of the downtown homeless mission. I did not retort. I was amazed. A pure example of the logic of the left, compassion to force you into a cage, generosity to steal your independence. Once a population embraces these "principles" of the left and is comfortable, for the most part, healthy, for the most part, happy, for the most part, and defenseless, for the most part, the socialist trimmings will fall. Focus will shift to control freedom of thought, individually, and association; the government housing, that provided comfort, will fall into disrepair;  the government health care, that provided basic health, will be underfunded and services reduced; as more become fully dependent on the government and less and less is provided, crime, at all levels increases, the population, now dependent and defenseless is less happy.  The wealthy Communists in government continue to garner wealth. Those not part of this elite will be subject to constant surveillance, by the government and by their neighbors. Unarmed, unable to openly dissent, unable to associate, any revolution will be difficult and cost many lives. Revolution will be  palatable only after despair and desperation overcome the risk to life. I am confident that collective, American, apathy would stagnate creditable revolt, until long after my death.(Unless Democrats sweep the election, the implementation of unchallenged Democrat polices, for 8 years, will push the needle to revolution faster than any random group of Boys. Oh, do not doubt the 8 year prediction. The Democrats will provide amnesty to illegal immigrants and open the boarders for more immigrants. Historically, these groups vote Democrat. The Democrats will work to eliminate  the electoral college and the acceptance of immigrants en-masse  will benefit the Democrats, as elections and politics become  a numbers gamer. The Democrats champion these policies without concern for the living conditions of their lower and working class constituents.

Yea watch Joe Biden's most recent little press interaction while he constantly has his fingers and hands all over his mask that he can't keep on his face.Great way to stop the spread, touch your mask constantly.Might as well not wear one it's probably safer.Great leader.

I’m in the restaurant industry, supervise 9 locations 450+ staff... some come sense steps I’ve been using regarding door handles.

Keep napkins in your pockets. Use the napkin as a glove to open the door  than without contaminating your hands fold the napkin toss it in the trash.

Immediately look for a sanitizer dispenser use it. Simple  courtesy i see people approaching a door I politely open the door from the inside for them. Avoid touching panic bars on any door. Most commercial doors  have a ADA door handle  and many have a finger pull built into the door .. 95% of people use the door handle. Don’t touch the door handle !  Hand management has taken on a whole new meaning ... stay safe everyone

Shoulder or hip the door open. Some you can't. Just because you may have virus on your hands doesn't mean you can't sanitize them. I hand sanitize when ever I get ijn my wife's car and rub the steering wheel, door handle, shifter and seat belt clip. Things you would normally touch.

This should be in the co-vid thread

This was fun...

Exactly !,  working in the restaurant business day in day out I’m  sure I’ve been exposed to Covid-19. However being conscious of what I’m touching,  where I’m standing, having a bottle of hand sanitizer hanging from my neck and most importantly frequent and good hand washing practices has so far kept me and my family safe. I’ve turned into a Covid-19 protocol subject matter expert out of necessity to keep my staff, customers safe and our business operating.

 Crazy times !!

Any employees under your watch been sick yet ? My wife works at Home Depot and deals with hundreds of people a day along with the employees. It's a busy store and not one case of Covid that they are aware of.Not touching door handles if possible has been something i've done for a long time.If i do i wash up.

We’ve had to quarantine several staff in the restaurants. Thankfully no Covid-19 positives yet. We follow all the protocols either mandated or suggested

by our Health Dept. What keeps me up worried every night is what I can’t control.

7 Predictions: How 2020 comes to an

Daniel Bobinski, M.Ed. is a certified behavioral analyst, best-selling author, corporate trainer, executive coach, and columnist. America is at a crossroads with revolution on our doorstep. On one side are the Patriots; those who seek to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution. On the other side are Marxist insurrectionists; those who believe that America is evil and the cause of so many problems in world.

The Marxist-friendly side is pulling for Joe Biden to be ushered into the White House. They don’t call themselves Marxists, but as the saying goes, if it talks like a duck and walks like a duck, it’s a duck.

I’ve been writing since January that the Globalists don’t care if there’s bloodshed in America , and in March I wrote that the Left is waging a scorched-earth war against Trump .

At the risk of sounding like I’m saying, “I told you so,” I told you so.

If you’ve been reading tea leaves from the news lately, you may have already figured out what’s coming at us in the next few months. If so, the following may simply affirm your observations. But I wanted to put this out there so everyone knows what to expect and therefore won’t be surprised.

My seven predictions for how 2020 comes to an end:

Prediction 1 : Trump will win the election in a landslide . I know, the media is telling you the polls are tight, but just look around. Trump rallies are packed to the gills while Biden can’t fill the bleachers at a high school football field. Trump supporters hold huge boat parades while we see NONE for Biden. Trump supporters hold freeway caravans around that country that take up all lanes of a freeway, while an attempted caravan for Biden in Las Vegas drew only 30 people. Just like in 2016, pollsters today are making it look like it’s a close race. This is gaslighting – they’re telling you something that runs directly opposite of what your own eyes are telling you, but they’re expecting you to believe what they say.

Prediction 2: On the evening of November 3, Joe Biden will not concede the election, even though the vote will clearly be for Trump. Hillary Clinton has publicly stated that Joe should not concede, so the seed has been planted in our minds to expect this. And, because we’re expecting it, we won’t be shocked by it.

Prediction 3: Massive mail voter fraud will create confusion and Marxists (e.g. Democrats) will insist that “every vote counts.” They know Americans want to be fair so Marxists will play on that. They will cry and wail and plead that every vote needs to get counted, so they’ll ask for sympathy for voters who didn’t follow confusing new election rules about how to cast their mail-in ballots. That will be their story, but many votes will be fraudulent. As they’ve demonstrated on America’s streets, Marxists don’t care about following laws; they care about power.

Prediction 4: Because of massive mail fraud ballots showing up late, election results WILL be delayed. The deceptive Mark Zuckerberg at Facebook and the clearly biased Jack Dorsey at Twitter have already announced they will flag any posts or tweets that claim a victory for Trump. They KNOW Trump will have more than enough votes to win, but as Zuckerberg already told us, we should expect results to take “DAYS OR EVEN WEEKS.” In other words, Facebook and Twitter are well-aware of the planned mail-in voter fraud, and they’re already providing cover for it. The planned vote count confusion will be dragged out as long as possible. The Marxists’ intention is to keep confusion swirling at least until December 14 in hopes that the electoral college won’t be able to identify a winner. Expect ballots to keep showing up out of nowhere.

Prediction 5: If Marxists cannot keep up the façade until December 14, some states will obfuscate the electoral process by choosing not to follow the rules laid out in the 12th Amendment. In fact, both may happen. Either way, by attempting to throw the electoral college into confusion, Marxists (again, the Democrats) will make a push for the electoral college to be eliminated. Believe me when I say you don’t want this. Students of the Constitution know that if the electoral college is eliminated, the Republic will be gone.

Prediction 6: Expect Nancy Pelosi to be acting all patriotic and concerned about the Constitution during the chaos, but rest assured, it’s a passive-aggressive act. She is among the Marxist vanguard in both houses of Congress orchestrating the whole mess. You will also see some Marxist-friendly governors making a lot of noise.

Prediction 7: While Marxists in Congress are messing with the electoral process, Marxists on the streets (Antifa and BLM) will intensify their violence by burning, looting, and murdering even more than what we’ve seen to this point. There’s already a movement that seeks to lay siege to the White House. Not only do the puppet masters want all the street chaos to distract our attention from what’s going on in the electoral process, the street Marxists see this election as their only chance to either grab power or put up with Trump for four more years. The protestors have been trained to instigate violence, and copy-cat wannabes will want to join in. Street Marxists will view these riots as the fight of their lives: it will get intense.

To perpetuate the riots, puppet masters like George Soros will continue pouring money into organizations that fund them. Also remember that Antifa and BLM have threatened to go into the suburbs. Their purpose for doing so is to trigger the Soccer Moms who wants peace at all costs. Marxists will hope that these suburban moms will apply pressure on their elected representatives to give in to the Marxists so the violence will end. Life on American streets will be unpredictable and dangerous.

How does it end?

The Marxists are desperate, so the fighting will be like nothing the country has ever seen before. I predict we’ll see horrific things happening in our cities and on our streets, and traditional media (read: Marxist-friendly media) will be spewing twisted truths and lies about everything listed above. And we can’t forget that social media giants favor the Marxists in this revolution, so they will be squelching debate in whatever ways they can.

The final months of 2020 will be an emotional roller coaster, but in the end, I predict Trump prevails. It’s not going to be pretty, and many who are now thinking life will return to normal after November 3 will be sadly mistaken. They will be wondering what happened to the country they once knew.

Whether the Democrats implode or not after all this happens remains to be seen, but it is my prayer that when the dust settles, all the Marxists plotters and schemers be exposed and truth will be recognized as truth. And then … maybe then … Trump can get on with his promise to drain the entire swamp.

He is not a great leader he is a senile old Man. What can you expect, but he is trying to protect himself. Which we all should be doing. He is not disregarding guidelines and questioning medical experts like Dr. Trump does or put out some kind of message that masks are for sissies. Dumshit Trump ignored protocol and bashed the experts and guess what? He got infected! He got off lucky, Chris Christie not so much. Its all good. Looking forward to the next debate. Expecting more comedy gold!
