Refurbishing emblems?

Recommended Posts

I want to touch up the emblems off my 620. I have the 1600 ones from the front fender and the Datsun one from the front grill. They are in decent shape but there's definitely spots on the "chrome" parts that have rubbed off to black plastic. I've tried looking on Google for advice on touching up emblems but am coming up empty handed. I don't want to use silver paint because it doesn't have that mirror finish that they have new. I have white, red, blue and flat black enamel to take care of the accents but the shiny bits vex me. Thanks in advance.

I think mine are in as good, if not better, shape than that. Would like to try to get them close to factory fresh, though.
