Pick up your tailgate, tie a piece of rope around it, attach that rope to a tree. Go cut down the tree and carry it into the bathroom and stand on the scale while holding the tree, rope and tailgate. Then get off the scale, remove the rope and tree, but still holding the tailgate, stand on the scale again. Step off the scale and remove the tailgate, and stand on the scale one last time. Ditch the first number, but then subtract the last number from the second number. This is the weight of a tailgate. 1 Quote Link to comment
