There were two 'dogleg' transmissions from the A series cars. The FS5W63A from the '76 Aptil and up B-210 coupe and the FS5W60L from the '79 210 (or B310)

The 63 series would be very strong for an A series engine but that's all there was. For the 210 a 60 series was made which was good enough. The '80 and up 210 also had a 60 series 5 speed but with a normal H pattern shift. There's no advantage to a dogleg shift pattern except they are harder to steal.
