Con rods don't wear out in regular use and they are reusable. Are you looking for an over size piston and having the block bored? Should be able to find after market over size ones.

Have to ask... what's wrong with the ones you have??

What's stopping you getting the spare one out with the other three already out of the way? Unbolt the big end from the crank and slip a bar down past it to the under side of the piston and pound it out. Probably will loose the piston but you will have the rod.

Then get a set of oversize pistons for the rods and bore one of those blocks to the oversize.

You would never pound metal on metal on the rod ends to drive them out of the block. Better to bash on the piston bottoms. Or place a block of wood over the ends to protect them.

i do not but do the pistons from a z22 fit in a l20b im assuming not but im curious

No. The piston pin height is such that the piston top would stick up out of the block hitting the underside of the head. In addition they are 2mm wider diameter.

You could over bore the L20B block from 85mm to 87mm and put Z22 pistons and crankshaft in. This would now make a 2.2liter L20B. AKAa 'stroker' L20B
