ejydryd
I own a 71 Datsun 510 that I have purchased from another owner. I find myself needing a new alternator. After realizing that the alternator has been upgraded from the original one. I can not seem to find out which one it is. After my research, I think its from a Datsun 280zx but I'm not sure. It's a Hitachi stamped is LT 150-54 also there is 97G. Under it kinda washed out but I think it 32990-5310 Any help is appreciated. Thank you 1 Quote Link to comment
thisismatt
Post a picture, and post a picture of the voltage regulator if there's still one there (or jumpered). 1 Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
32 is a transmission part number. Maybe you transposed it... 23 is electrical LT 150 is a 50 amp externally regulated alternator. All alternators from '78 and up were marked LR and internally regulated. 1 Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
Nissan part numbers are 10 digits long two sets of 5. I was hoping there was a hidden number after the 5310 and that the 32 was a mistake. 1 Quote Link to comment
