Pickup sputters uphill

I doubt it was debris. Probably dirty gas. When I ran carburated I would change mine anually and always kept a spare in the glovebox. They are cheap if you look around and buy them before you need them. I used to drive across country with my 720 and all it took was a tank of contaminated fuel and it was time for a change. Of course that is what they are for.
