tires/rims for a 520

For my '68 520, I'm wondering what a good option is for tires and rims? Stick with 14" or go to 15" ? I'm looking to drop the truck 2" keeping the stance level and having 7 to 8 " wide tires.

Wide tires on the front are going to increase the steering effort.

You also need to keep overall tire diameter, going too large of a diameter will have the same effect as going to a lower numerically rear axle ratio, and make the performance of the truck more sluggish.

Also poor offset choice to the negative, or rim mounting surface more towards the vehicle center and the tire extended outwards from the body increasing the scrub radius.

OK thanks. I believe the stock rim size is 6 x 5.5 with a 3.5 center hole, 4" wide rim. What size tire /rim can I go to?  What's the stock tire size? Any specific make of rim that goes well with a 520? Something like this

LOL, that was my truck. Those wheels are 15x6 Toyota landcruiser wheels with generic spinners. IIRC tires were 205/60-15
