MaddieCycle
Hello. Where are folks sourcing replacement front CV joints/axles? '86 KC 4x4 Z24. Thanks! 1 Quote Link to comment
thisismatt
Part number should be 39100-78G60. Looks like you can still find OEM, but they are $$$. There are aftermarket for a fraction of the price, but I've never found rebuilts to be very good quality (my experience is limited to rebuilt Honda shafts, not Nissan, however). 2 Quote Link to comment
captain720
I got mine at napa and they have been going strong for over 4 years now if I remember right with lots of abuse amd no signs of wear. Before you buy them take of one of your locking hubs and count the splines to make sure you get the right one, it gets confusing and parts catalogs get things wrong, if you have the spline count your good. 2 Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Nissan forums say mostly NLA (no longer available) course there is always some place that might have one on the shelf. The trick is finding them. Most pull from another Nissan. Matt I get 39100-50W00 for '83 and up and over $600 at the dealer for the entire assy. The axle and outer CV replacement 'kit' is over $300. Boots are $40. They don't appear to be rebuildable beyond this. 2 Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
The last 720 was November 85. So between chassis #338,431 and #351,280 for that month. 1 Quote Link to comment
