Russ
It would be going into the 610, which came with an L18. Just ran a straight edge over the engine bay, no chance of it fitting with a downdraft and aircleaner but sidedrafts and sock filters would work. The 810 really needs the extra 2 cylinders, mine always felt underpowered. Probably explains my previous preference towards the L18 in the 510, my only experience with driving an L20 was in the much heavier 810. Quote Link to comment

We got the L24 similar to the 240Z engine but with EFI. It was longer between the front wheel and wind screen. If you like the L24, it'd be worth measuring up an RB20. They're fantastic engines. There are some measurements here... https://forums.nicoclub.com/physical-size-of-an-rb20-rb25-t107706.html Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
I think you'll find the 810 is shorter than the 810 we got in N America. Ours was longer in the front to accommodate the extra 2 cylinders of the L24. Look just forward of the front door. Two extra cylinders will need about 7.5" of extra length. Quote Link to comment
Russ
Your 810 is definitely longer. The RB is a great engine, but I have no interest in an extra 200 lbs over the front end. I’ll take well balanced handling over bulk hp any day. Quote Link to comment
slowlearner
Yeah, that US 810 looks weird! Personally, if it was me I'd be putting in a Honda K24. Cheap, plentiful, bulletproof and lots of aftermarket parts. (Yes I know it's not Nissan) Quote Link to comment
Russ
Progress is slow. Just starting on some bodywork. Rust is minimal however some attention is needed behind the rear bumper. The roof came up a treat with some vinyl rejuvenator. 1 Quote Link to comment
