Alex's Datsun
My son is on his way home from California to Spokane, Wa. He is stranded at the Subaru Dealer. His 1970 521 Pickup with a 1977 200sx 5 speed dog leg transmission needs a new shiftier and bushings. It is stuck in 4th gear. Please please can anyone in Eugene Oregon help us? I do have some pictures too. 5099931103 Thank you so much!! Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
The 63A dogleg.... pin, E clip and bushings are the same as those used in any 71B 4 or 5 speed or any A series 56 series transmission. This should mean that these shifters will also exchange. Quote Link to comment

HRH
Thanks fellas! I got confirmation yesterday that Jacob (not sure which one) had a spare stick and was only 5 minutes away. This is for a customer I built the L20B and dogleg conversion for quite a few years ago. He called me up, I told him to get on here. I'm amazed the ball broke off, never seen that happen, though I did notice the pivot bushings seemed to be gone. They were there when the conversion was done. That dogleg was actually the one in the orange 510 I used to rip around town. 5 Quote Link to comment
