SLO720
Here is something I came up with a couple years ago. Pretty simple venture and garners a much brighter dome light. I order to complete this mod you will need: Solder and heat shrink (recommended) or heat shrink butt connectors Terminal connectors from a 95-99 Chevy c/k 1500 or a ford Taurus dome light. Extremely short or cutdown small self tapping screws (what I did). These are needed as I mounted my light where the dome mounts to its base. Basically you remove the stuck bulb and holder and add the Chevy bulb holder and then strip wires and connect the wiring into your dome lights harness. Another note is, until the dome light is mounted and grounded the bulb probably won't light up. I'll post the bulb number once I figure out what it is again. Final note is that the switch itself may be fragile so do your best not to yank on it as it may break free from its mounting. 1 Quote Link to comment
