Icehouse Posted December 12, 2019 Report Share Posted December 12, 2019 I've never really owned a Z. So some things that may be normal to Z dudes aren't to me. Like there is no charge light? Hmmm So I wired the SR20DET alternator charge light to the "choke" light since we don't need that any more. The odd thing is the light won't light up with key on. I've wired it just like I always have. Just like this diagam shows. What's the deal? If I start the Z it charges. Which seems odd. Quote Link to comment

Not you ask US! haha true. I've just never had this issue before. The light always works........ It was super late when I finally got it all wired up. datzenmike Posted December 13, 2019 Report Share Posted December 13, 2019 Jeff try swapping the White to the L and the White/Red to the S on the plug. I have an Altima alternator and mixed them up. Drove it for 3 years without noticing the charge light was missing. Quote Link to comment
