My machine '87 720 4 x 4 Double Cab Custom Flatdeck back 2.4 with extractor. Rebuilt engine after headgasket failure, skimmed head and block. Runs fine but seems much to low geared. 1st gear is redundant.....and foot to the floor 98km/hr on the flat. Is there a higher ratio front and rear diff available? datzenmike Posted December 5, 2019 Report Share Posted December 5, 2019 It should easily go faster than that. Replace the fuel filters. Costs $5 and no harm done. If you have the 8 plug head confirm that both sides are firing. Let me know, it's an easy fix. Quote Link to comment
