GL4 rated or anything considered 'yellow metal' or safe for use with copper or brass alloy, somewhere in the 75w-90w range. Synthetic is also good BUT it tends to seep past old worn seals where the thicker stuff does not. Synthetic is 'thinner' viscosity and improves cold shifting and downshifting.
