If the bolt broke, an old trick is to drill it out from one end to the other (so the bolt goes clear through) and use an L series head bolt (or other 10mm bolt). You will need to drill out the alternator lower bolt holes too. Broken lower alternator mounting bolts are common.

.... maybe. My info shows the Datsun cars and Z series truck mounts are the same but 620 truck are not. The L18 and all L20Bs used only in the 620 and the first year (1980) 720 truck were the same. In my picture you can see they are slightly different. The top one mounts the alternator higher than the bottom one  by 3/4"?

 

You could try one but clearance between the 620 alternator and the idler arm below it is very close. A lower mounted alternator would not be good.
