Jesse C. Posted February 4, 2020 Report Share Posted February 4, 2020 For those spherical bearings to fail to the point of coming off, something pretty massive would have to happen to them. I installed mine without the washer after I had the same install problem. But actually, my first problem was that the spacers didn't fit the pins. They sent me a second set and after some slight heating, they went on pretty good. Quote Link to comment
loungin112 Posted November 22, 2025 Report Share Posted November 22, 2025 I’m using the special inner-conical spacer and no outer spacer. The nut is tightened lush against the spherical bearing/bushing with a dab of blue loctite and it engages the nylon material perfectly. The spherical bearing/bushing isn’t intended to move, only the a-arm contact portion is intended to move. I would definitely use the inner spacer though. Quote Link to comment
