Bgrizz
Hey brand new to the forum. I’m putting a newer motor in my 720 4x4 and would like to replace the clutch at the same time. What clutch kit should I buy? Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
You should fill out your profile and put the year in. All Z24 engines used the 240mm clutch and flywheel. All L20B and Z22 were a 225mm clutch. I doubt you' ll be racing a 4x4 so any good make will do. Nissan disc is $90 and the PP about $130 so look at the mileage and consider that this clutch lasted at least this long. The stock Z24 PP has at least 400 pounds of clamping force. The '84-'85 300zx turbo clutch disc and pressure plate is also 240mm and will bolt right on. It's rated at 600 pounds clamping force. If you get this be sure to change to the 300zx release collar that is matched to this clutch. Quote Link to comment
