TimmyG
Unless someone knows how I can get my hands on the OEM formed fuel hoses (tank to filter, filter to pump, pump to hard line)... I'm gonna have to use an inline fuel filter and use bulk fuel hose. Is there any particular flow rate or size filter I should look for? Or any generic inline fuel filter will do? Thanks. 1 Quote Link to comment

Thanks. So you're using this generic type filter? Just wanna make sure I don't find myself in an "OOPS" situation when it comes to gasoline. 🤪👍🏻 1 Quote Link to comment
Charlie69
Remember TimmyG you have a rusty tank so it is best to be able to see into the filter. Quote Link to comment

I am installing a donor tank from my parts truck. That truck actually has much less rust on the frame, so hoping the tank is better. It's not dented so that's a plus! Ha 1 Quote Link to comment

This looks like a fuel injection filter. OR they are just using a generic picture. All carb filters I've seen are under $5 and clear plastic. I think I have one from a Honda on my L20B. Looks exactly the same as the Nissan one. 2 Quote Link to comment
TimmyG
I will have to check the hose inside diameter and then just pick up another one like what I added under the hood I guess. 1 Quote Link to comment
thisismatt
If you are getting large particles, then one of the cleanable glass body, metal mesh filters in line before a finer sealed filter can be a good idea. 2 Quote Link to comment

I think it's just a generic photo - the others on Rockauto are showing as the plastic ones you mentioned. 1 Quote Link to comment
