ckm319
Hi all, Ever since I got this 84 720 there has been a small broken ground cable mounted to the firewall but small, flat and short. I cant figure out where it went. Anyone know by chance? Thanks. 1 Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Is it a bare woven copper? If yes, probably a ground to the engine, maybe one of the rear valve cover bolts that was removed and forgotten. 1 Quote Link to comment
ckm319
It is. The eyelet connector is missing so I haven't a clue. I did find one when I pulled my valve cover and put it back but it was not a woven one. 1 Quote Link to comment
ckm319
Well I found the ground cable end today, it was on a bolt on the exhaust manifold heat shield and ran to the firewall. Go figure. 1 Quote Link to comment
Charlie69
That is a factory ground from engine to body. That is one I keep in good condition. Quote Link to comment
