gohawks
Got a 81 720 4X4, Stock Z22 motor, new plugs, wires, cap and rotor, set valve clearance at .012. When I apply the brakes I am getting a vacum leak from the brake booster. Is the any repairs that can be done on this or do I need to find a replacement? 1 Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
Replacing the booster is probably the way to go. 1 Quote Link to comment
bottomwatcher
Usually booster warantee is void if you don't replace th MC at the same time. Leaking brake fluid is usually what eats away at the diaphragm. If you are happy with the braking replace with the same style but if you want more power assist get a dual diaphragm booster since the 82 is a single. 2 Quote Link to comment
