Inhibitor switch wires for neutral safety switch

I've converted my truck from auto to manual, currently the inhibitor switch wires are connected so it'll run, bypassed the inhibitor switch. Can I use these wires to connect to the neutral safety switch on the manual trans? I.e., Does the neutral safety switch create a closed loop in neutral?

Just realized, I can put a voltmeter on it.

The neutral switch creates a closed loop from the battery to the input of the starter relay when the transmission selector is in neutral.  The starter relay then applies full battery power without copper line loss to the starter .  If you have the starter relay from the automatic transmission setup still installed and connected it should work with the manual transmission.  If you have "improved" the wiring, good luck!
