Eric
is there suppose to be a difference in length? Edited September 5, 2019 by Eric Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
KC or long wheel base trucks will be longer than standard cab short wheel base trucks. Those look the same, other than length. The right side cable is threaded at the front so a nut can be tightened to adjust. Those two look like left sides. If you have a KC/long wheel base truck, a short wheel base cable won't reach, but a KC/long will reach a short wheel base and you could tie the excess cable up out of the way. 1 Quote Link to comment
Eric
Took both of these of my KC, but the difference in length can't be right i guess. But on any truck the left and right side should be the same? I'll just use the long one as a template to make two new ones. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
The only difference between long and short wheelbase trucks is the over all lengths of the parking brake cables. IF one side is longer on a short wheel base truck the long wheel base will also be longer than the other side. Like I said one side (I think the right) has a threaded end for adjusting. I might be longer than the left Quote Link to comment
