datzenmike Posted August 25, 2019 Report Share Posted August 25, 2019 It would seem so.  9 turns would mean you are likely in 2nd gear.  1...3...5 2...4...R   If the shifter is off the transmission, the striking rod should be pulled back towards the rear to get into first gear. 1 Quote Link to comment

Yeah, I have no idea what gear it was left in. I figured that did matter, however I've yet to actually ever take apart a transmission. Give it time, tho.  In the meantime I will redo this test correctly! 1 Quote Link to comment
