Chrome Trimmed Windshield Gaskets

Windshield gaskets  with chrome trim, anyone know where to get one? I’m assuming these are complete unobtainium.

It was an option on the T series, so even more rare.. Windshield set, moulding.(6 piece)  # 72810-14900

What's the T series?

Actually I didn't need to add that. I just checked and the T is pretty much on all 520/521s. Like L521 or PL521 the L only means left hand drive and doesn't really need to be said. So only rare as in a not co common option.

That would be nice considering I have all the other rare pieces. Chrome even if you could get would be a pain in the ass for a rubber with groove.

I had a 521 and a 510 at the same time. One of them (I think the 510) had a chrome strip that inserted into the rubber after the glass was mounted. The rubber gasket was very floppy without it but easy enough to install the glass. The chrome strip wasn't for show it, it added needed rigidity to the gasket. It was slid in from the sides. I forget it was 44 years ago.

The Datsun roadster guys are always looking for that windshield trim. Rarer than a hen's tooth. The factory stuff used to fall off, since it was just sort of pinched onto the rubber.

That's different. This was slid into channels for stiffness. It was floppy without it.
