I compared the 620, 280z, 280zx and 720 4 and 5 speeds as well as the S110 200sx and Maxima 5 speeds.... all the same part number. The '84 and up S12 is different somehow but this is a car that bridges '86.5 when the 71C was introduced. I have an '85 CA18ET 5 speed in my 710 and tried to fit the rear 71B case from a zx on and it won't fit. Luckily I kept the original and all is good. In fact the S12 adapter plate I'm using is exactly the same as the later 71C used on the S12 VG30. Quote Link to comment
