510, zx strut ID

Is there an easy way to visually tell which struts I have?  I just bought another 510 and it needs a brake upgrade and i don't know what struts are on it.  I need to know b4 i start buying parts .

Yeah, take a picture, post it here.

 

OR look at the part numbers stamped on the side of the strut tubes. Also post that here.

You should be able to tell by the brakes - if you have the small solid brake rotors, then you have the stock 510 struts. If you have vented rotors someone has already upgraded the brakes with ZX or 200SX parts. Sorry I can't tell you what the visual difference is other than it's the offset of the rotor in/out by a few mm.

510 brake pads are wedge shaped. As they wear down the caliper turns till it's parallel to the rotor.

They look like zx calipers and the rotors are vented.
