russaroll
Is there an easy way to visually tell which struts I have? I just bought another 510 and it needs a brake upgrade and i don't know what struts are on it. I need to know b4 i start buying parts . Quote Link to comment
Draker
Yeah, take a picture, post it here. OR look at the part numbers stamped on the side of the strut tubes. Also post that here. Quote Link to comment
rosso
You should be able to tell by the brakes - if you have the small solid brake rotors, then you have the stock 510 struts. If you have vented rotors someone has already upgraded the brakes with ZX or 200SX parts. Sorry I can't tell you what the visual difference is other than it's the offset of the rotor in/out by a few mm. As mentioned above, post pics. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
510 brake pads are wedge shaped. As they wear down the caliper turns till it's parallel to the rotor. Quote Link to comment
russaroll
They look like zx calipers and the rotors are vented. https://imgur.com/a/6qCJQ4J Quote Link to comment
thisismatt
Looks like 280ZX Quote Link to comment
