you primed the oil pump? Carb  I assume yes

The fuel pump is an Airtex 1340

 

Plug wires are ACDelco from rockauto

It’s a 38 DGAS, I turned in the mix screws 1/4 from stock so it seems close. I just finished initial engine breakin. Carb and timing Seems pretty good at this point. Will try to get 500-1000 miles before tweaking.   Oil change is next.

Yes. Haven’t been on the highway yet but feels on the same level as my stock 280Z.

My washer bag motor works but has a small leak, guessing a seal is bad. Anyone have one for parts maybe.

I would check the hoses out of the bag to the pump, and from the pump out to the washer nozzle first.

It’s coming out the shaft into the motor area. Amazingly the motor was still spinning even though it was full of water.

Do you even need it?  Mine doesn't have enough pressure to do anything but pittle it on my windshield.

Squirts great but it is crappie spray. I’m anal about these little things.

What are we talking about?

Roam a junkyard, and look for a washer pump with hose in and out, and swap that pump in.  The pump may need to be mounted on the inner fender, if it is too big to fit in the pouch at the bottom of the bag.

I am guessing it will not as you have that dual plane manifold.  Make that thing wall art and get even a stock intake manifold as it flows better.

I’ve developed an electrical lighting issue. All my lights were working after I put the car back together except backup lights, they are disconnected.  Even passed inspection last week. Today

 

-hazards work fine except backup lights(not connected) 
-headlights and brights work fine.

-push on brake: front right turn light comes on and front left turns on weakly. Rear brakes on and right rear turn comes on. 
-with lights on or off, Turn signal switch operates many lights incorrectly. 
 

disconnected the rear harness and the fronts work correctly. Found a mess of melted wires under the bed. Time to make a new harness.
