Man that interior looks awesome, everything is mint!

Why didn't you match the shift knob to the bitch knob and go full green sparkle?

I really like that interior. I’ve been looking at plaid truck bench pics for a while. Nice job man.

Yes. Same guy. I got loop so maybe it will be fine. And yes, I will likely get another mat for driving.

Did he do the loop mats for you?  If so fuck me I wish I would have known.

Yes. I asked specifically for loop as I like the look.

What’s the best way to confirm oil pressure. I turn over the engine with no plugs and oil light stays on. Maybe it should.  I don’t see oil flowing through the valve cover hole.

Wasn't this kind of a fresh motor?

It might take a minute to fill the oil filter....

You could crack the filter loose just enough to see if oil is in the filter...

Then I would probably do the same at the oil sender....

Some oil should drip out of those locations.....

I let it start for ten seconds. Then a second 10 seconds. Then a third. Light went off at 8 sec. on the 4th, light went out at 2 secs so think I’m good.

Some times you have to rev your engine to get the old alternators to start charging.

My starter oil pressure is over 30. The light should go out above 8 PSI. It does take a while on a fresh start up but once everything is primed.... after that it's just a few seconds.

Thanks for the contact info. Are you happy with the loop carpet with regard to how it fits over the tunnel contours?

With the curves I was concerned as well and was willing to live with some creases but I was surprised how easily the tunnel piece layed/glued down. No creases. The carpet is light weight. The kit comes in seven pieces so that helps with all the curves. Take your time. Test fit, test fit, test fit.

Did you use any portion of the vinyl liner mat at all? Even up near the firewall?

Also, how much was the loop carpet kit, if you don't mind me asking.

I cant answer your question but I do know for just the 2 loop floor mats its $225.  I didn't get loop anything and the carpet is holding up great but the floor mats can be a bitch if you are picky.  If I could do it again I would have gotten loop floor mats and left the carpet the same (whatever its called).

I stopped at the firewall insulation.  Like DP says, Carpet is $225. Mats are another $200.

Nice. Looks like he changed his pricing around a little, but there's no one else out there making them. Just ordered a set w/o mats.

And like DP I did fat mat too. And don’t trim off extra material from the tire hump and tunnel area. Let the extra lay into the floor pan area.  The floor pan pieces will cover.
