Greaser2
And interior back in. And a cheesy pool ball shifter. 5 Quote Link to comment
BrothersGarage
Man that interior looks awesome, everything is mint! Why didn't you match the shift knob to the bitch knob and go full green sparkle? 1 Quote Link to comment
pidge
I really like that interior. I’ve been looking at plaid truck bench pics for a while. Nice job man. -Pidge 2 Quote Link to comment

Greaser2
What’s the best way to confirm oil pressure. I turn over the engine with no plugs and oil light stays on. Maybe it should. I don’t see oil flowing through the valve cover hole. 1 Quote Link to comment
Crashtd420
Wasn't this kind of a fresh motor? It might take a minute to fill the oil filter.... You could crack the filter loose just enough to see if oil is in the filter... Then I would probably do the same at the oil sender.... Some oil should drip out of those locations..... Greaser2
I loaded the filter and pump already 1 Quote Link to comment
Greaser2
I let it start for ten seconds. Then a second 10 seconds. Then a third. Light went off at 8 sec. on the 4th, light went out at 2 secs so think I’m good. 1 Quote Link to comment
Charlie69
Some times you have to rev your engine to get the old alternators to start charging. Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
I think he meant oil light 1 Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
My starter oil pressure is over 30. The light should go out above 8 PSI. It does take a while on a fresh start up but once everything is primed.... after that it's just a few seconds. 1 Quote Link to comment

greenthumb
Thanks for the contact info. Are you happy with the loop carpet with regard to how it fits over the tunnel contours? 1 Quote Link to comment

Are you happy with the loop carpet with regard to how it fits over the tunnel contours? With the curves I was concerned as well and was willing to live with some creases but I was surprised how easily the tunnel piece layed/glued down. No creases. The carpet is light weight. The kit comes in seven pieces so that helps with all the curves. Take your time. Test fit, test fit, test fit. 1 Quote Link to comment
mainer311
Did you use any portion of the vinyl liner mat at all? Even up near the firewall? Also, how much was the loop carpet kit, if you don't mind me asking. 1 Quote Link to comment
d.p
I cant answer your question but I do know for just the 2 loop floor mats its $225. I didn't get loop anything and the carpet is holding up great but the floor mats can be a bitch if you are picky. If I could do it again I would have gotten loop floor mats and left the carpet the same (whatever its called). 1 Quote Link to comment

mainer311
Nice. Looks like he changed his pricing around a little, but there's no one else out there making them. Just ordered a set w/o mats. 1 Quote Link to comment
Greaser2
And like DP I did fat mat too. And don’t trim off extra material from the tire hump and tunnel area. Let the extra lay into the floor pan area. The floor pan pieces will cover. Edited April 1, 2020 by Greaser2 1 Quote Link to comment
