KoHeartsGPA
B210? Missing the (1) that goes between the (2) and (0), thread title is botched as well... Quote Link to comment
Oldkrow
Ok. Sorry. I dont work on these, i do classic cars. Thanks for the correction. anyways...on to the tail light issue.... Quote Link to comment
KoHeartsGPA
Check all the grounds, I found on many occasions of people having issues like yours and it was simply bad grounds, sometimes rust is present where they are thus losing connection to the body. Quote Link to comment
Oldkrow
Ok, but im having trouble finding the grounds on the schematic Quote Link to comment
KoHeartsGPA
Should be the black wire, I'll take a look at few diagrams... Quote Link to comment
KoHeartsGPA
Well according to the diagram I looked at there should be a ground on the tail light assembly, all you need to do is identify it and run a wire to ground it to the body. Quote Link to comment

Oldkrow
Yup. I have new tail lamp housing due to excessive resistance in the old ones. I did run that ground and got all the lights working and bright...except the running lights! im wondering..we ordered new side marker lamps front and rear. because those are out of the circuit loop, is that why the tail lamps dont work? KoHeartsGPA
No, I don't think so, and there is 12v on the running lights circuit? Replace the fuse to see if it helps, long shot but might as well try Quote Link to comment
Oldkrow
Yeah, i have 12v at all the bulb pots. I have good grounds for the tail lights. Thats why im so stumped, lol. im doing this for a freind, and have got most of the havk job electrical out. This is my last hurdle Quote Link to comment
KoHeartsGPA
How many watts are the bulbs? Did you try different ones? Are the light assembly aftermarket? Quote Link to comment
Oldkrow
Yeah, the tail lights are aftermarket. do you know what bulbs the running lamps actually use? Quote Link to comment
