blairis Posted February 7, 2019 Report Share Posted February 7, 2019 been awhile since ive been here, done a couple of thing to the wagon. couldn't find a wagon badge so I got 1 custom made. fitted a light under the bonnet. finally fitted the window chrome strips. got new rubber fitted for cargo area windows. took it to Datsun day 2018, met some nice people and saw some awesome datsuns. http://imgur.com/a/Wwd5j9d http://imgur.com/a/zNQNHYK http://imgur.com/a/2bB6GPr http://imgur.com/a/txqkyxW looks like handbrake handle is breaking so have to figure out how to get it off and replace/fix it any ideas??? 2 Quote Link to comment

Duncan Posted February 16, 2019 Report Share Posted February 16, 2019 Our Aussie goon are almost twins.. I used a Sunbeam Tiger/Alpine handbrake on my wagon, and it works like a champ. I haven't seen it in a very long while, but I did not get rid of the factory handbrake from my wagon. I'll see if I can locate it. Quote Link to comment

I'll see if I can locate it. thanks mate. let me know how you go, my handle is close to snapping, you have to really use some force to put it on, I think its because of the R31 skyline diff and disc brakes. Cheers, Michael Hi Michael Wheels are FR15 Simmons 3 piece. These are older ones so Australian made, they are now made in Asia somewhere. Fronts are 15 x 6.5 inch tyres 195/50 R15 Rears are 15 x 7 inch tyres 205/50 R15 Not sure about off sets. I'm using datsun 810 SSS struts and brakes and shortened Aussie R31 skyline diff so you'll have to see what off set suits your needs. Cheers Blair. 2 Quote Link to comment
