521 defroster upper pipe rubber connector

I've since fixed the issue. I was able to get some large heat shrink tubing to go around the rubber connector. Turned on defroster

and tubing shrunk to fit connector, problem solved. For now.

I have never had a 520 or a 521 heater get hot enough to melt the adhesive on duct tape!  LOL

I have Charlie, during the summer, I run my heater every time I drive the work truck, doesn't matter if summer or winter, I figured it helped cool the engine as I am using a stock 521 radiator with my LZ23 and i have my foot into the pedal most the time as it takes power to move 6000/7000lbs up grades and to get it moving when it is loaded up.

The outer coating of the duct tape disintegrated and what was left was a sticky stringy mess, I am sure it is over a 100 degrees down there on hot summer days in my truck.
