NVFireFighter
So I've done the search thing and can find nothing current on replacing the shifter bushings.....mine has a very sloppy condition and I'd like to replace it. Does anyone offer the rebuild kit? Thanks! Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
'78 620??? they are the same transmission. Once the engine size started getting larger and the vehicle heavier and used for carrying loads the F4W63 was a little too light so Nissan simply swapped the six cylinder 4 speed transmission in. When the 5 speed became available on the 280z in '77 it was offered as an option on the truck. 1 Quote Link to comment

Seeker > 620 KC
The pivot pin, plastic bushings, and e-clips are still available thru Nissan , but you might have to partner with someone because they sell e-clips in packs of 10; and bushings in 5 packs, when the vehicle only requires 1 e-clip, and 2 bushings . Go figure, eh? Quote Link to comment
Goemon
I had to buy an oil pan from the dealer several years ago. It was pricey......$200.00 I think.? The tray inside mine was cracked and almost broken. Good thing I caught it when we did the transmission. Quote Link to comment

distributorguy
Making those bushings from brass is a really simple mini-lathe project. Then you can custom fit them for better clearances. Quote Link to comment
