datzenmike Posted November 11, 2018 Report Share Posted November 11, 2018 There's no reason for this being off the road for so long unless the head gasket blew or some major problem not worth fixing. I bet this is an automatic. New battery. New fuel filter. Fresh gas. Check the water and oil. Pull the coil wire off and crank while holding near a ground. Got spark? Crank until the glass on the front of the carb is showing some gas. Pump the gas and the choke should close. Connect the coil wire and give it a try to start. Quote Link to comment
