Gaskets for L18 motor

Hi Ratsuns, 

     I’m looking for recommendations of a website that sells quality  head, front engine cover, and oil pan gasket for a L18 motor.

A local auto parts store would work.Or Rockauto.com if you can wait for parts.

Go for the timing kit. It includes the water pump, distributor and water return inlet to the timing cover gaskets, in addition to the front crankshaft seal. Always replace the seal while the pulley is off. Put a little grease on the seal lips so it doesn't start up dry.

 

The pan gaskets are the same for all L and Z series 4 cylinders.

 

L18 head gasket is Nissan #11044-U0800 and is the same as the L20B

Get a head gasket from the Nissan dealer if possible. Another good source for gasket kits is your local engine machine shop. They usually have access to suppliers that civilians don't.

I got all these at NAPA for about $70 Canadian. The head gasket was Fellpro and has a graphite coating? Last one I bought separately was $27. Certainly good enough for a stock engine.
