Jon Hibblen Posted October 10, 2018 Author Report Share Posted October 10, 2018 They were severely clogged and stuck in the carburetor. Had to use a tap to get them out which destroyed them. I'm just trying to find someplace that might actually carry the Jets. I have hunted for them I can't find anybody that sales them. I was just hoping that someone might know where I can locate these Jets. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike Posted October 10, 2018 Report Share Posted October 10, 2018 Find another Hitachi carb. All jets are the same thread and will fit. Try for a primary around 109 and a secondary over 150. It'll run on just about anything, it's not that critical. Old 70s and '80s Honda/Toyota might also work. There are a lot of interchangeable parts in Japan. Get a proper thick screw driver and grind the sides down so it's narrow enough to reach up inside the casting. Usually if the driver is small enough to fit, the blade is too small and it strips the slot in the jet. 1 Quote Link to comment
