this wheel was not offered stock on any US imported Z  cars except for one year on the 1977 Black Pearl special edition model.

exactly what datsunrides said

One year black pearl edition rims

they are worth what your willing to pay for the look

I feel a nice set of stock aluminum rims are worth around 400 or so

exceptional condition maybe more

What's the part number on those 40300-N3200???? I can't read it well. 40300-3200 was a common optional rim from

'73 on 5 1/2 J X 14"

40300-N3200 looks to be the correct PN Mike. According to Nissan, that PN superceeded to 40300-N3227. Last retail price was $422 per wheel.

Wow... probably cheaper as an option when buying the car new. I have S110 factory mags. I'll see what they are dealer price when I get home.

Yeah, I saw the 40300-N3227. Will call  the N3200 up and it will display supreceededence, I didn't bother before.

Can't confirm this.

The stock road wheel was...

30400-E4100 4.5"

30400-E4400 5" JX up to Aug '74

30400-N3100 after Aug '74

There were 3 optional rims (aluminum)

30400-N3225

30400-N3227

30400-N3200 260/280 MAG available after Aug '74-'77. For the last year, ('78)  of the 280z, the number supersedes to 30400-N3227 and caller the '78 Z mag $309 dealer net $185 in 2005

Them wheel part #'s should start "40300".....30400-XXXXX is transmission related.

A little dyslexia happening there.(sarcasm/smartass font).
