Recommended Posts

I’ve been looking for a while now, and cannot seem to locate a chassis harness for a 1971 Datsun 510 sedan with an s13 SR20DET motor... Any ideas as where to find an affordable and easy to install wiring harness is?? Any help would be great!! Thanks!

There's no such thing. There are harnesses for the SR's ECU that controls the EFI. These usually come with the import engine and you have to 'graft' it onto the older 510's power and ground. I think there  are some custom ones available on line.

If you can find a stock SR harness Icehouse is a member here and sels the Can/Am box which makes the conversion much easier.

This is the easiest solution:

I did not do it in my 510 yet, but did it in my hardbody.  Very simple.  Make sure to choose the correct options for what you have.

But like Mike says, a stock sr harness with the can am box does the same thing for less if you have some common sense.

The wiring specialties is made to be installed while you are stoned and retarded (most 240sx kids).  There are pretty pictures and it is all very well labeled.  Great product for the millennials who want to weld there diff and drift bro. ?
