Looking at a '72 Z

         Guy here who has a few Z's told me about a Z that's been sitting

in the street here.I went & looked at it,& it's seems to be in decent shape.

A little rust,but not bad.It came from Southern California.

              The guy who's place it's parked in front of told me that the guy needs

money,& might be able to buy it for a good price.He took my name & number.

                I told him that I really don't need another project,& don't have a lot of

money to spend on one.The owner sid that he wanted $10,000,& I told him I

wouldn't spend that much.

                  I'm interested,if it's cheap enough,& could sell my '96 F150 4WD,if

I need to come up with money (they're worth a lot of money here).

                 What's a fair/good price for it?

I've owned a number of s30/s130's. Over the years.

Had many un-solicited purchase offers , and even more compliments over (2) specific s30's.

 

Currently no pictures/detail/condition/specs/upgrades/etc.... in this post......so I can't help.....

The price people THINK they are worth is...VOLATILE ! ( be it good or bad condition )

             Sorry I'm so vague,but looked decent,& the guy I talked to said that

he'd gotten it running (it sat for a while).The interior looked good,but not great.

             Just trying to get an idea of a good price.I know it will need some work.

                     Guy called me back about it - he wants $5000 for it.

I went by & took a few pictures.

                    Last registered in 2012 (no back fees in VA). It's the 

original Yellow color (repaint).CA car,garage kept until about a

year ago.The dash isn't even cracked.

              I'm passing on it,as I'd have to borrow the money,& don't

want to overextend myself.I was willing to go to $3500,as that would

be a steal.

                  If anyone's interested,let me know.I can email pictures.

I've tried to post pictures,but haven't had any luck with that.

               Was also told that there's one other possible buyer,& Patrick,

the seller,told me he'd let me know if he buys it.

                 Also has a clear title.
