720 King Cab Killer Posted August 25, 2018 Report Share Posted August 25, 2018 SO My AC compressor works I hooked it up to power and got the clutch to spin so it works but its so old I don't think its worked for YEARS it looks like the wire broke off so whatever but it does work. I have looked for the same compressor but no auto parts store has it its discontinued. A place out on 43 ave and Indian school if I can remember right they said they can rebuild it? I really don't want a rebuild one so what kind of compressor will fit my 81 720 any ideas? This is territory I don't normally go into... Also Got my hoses off and they look ok is there any way to test them to see if they hold? If not any ideas where I can get replacements....YES I got O rings already... 1 Quote Link to comment
Charlie69 Posted August 25, 2018 Report Share Posted August 25, 2018 There are new compressor available at Rock Auto or Ebay. Have you checked with NAPA? what you will find is the new compressor, dryer accumulator and new expansion valve as a kit. Quote Link to comment
